There will be a College Planning Parent Workshop on Feb. 5, 2009 at the Collin College Conference Center in Plano. From the flyer:
"Join us for an informative and entertaining evening as we explore the college planning process from a parent's perspective.
Keynote speaker: Robert Franek, Princeton Review's chief expert on higher education issues and lead author of the annual "Best Colleges" guide, visits more than 50 colleges a year and has been a lecturer and panelist on college admissions for audiences of educators, aprents and students. He is regularly interviewed as an expert source by national media in print, on radio, and TV.
Additional speakers will address: Choosing a college, paying for college, demystifying the admissions process, and more."
