Dear Blue Ridge family,

It's a great day to be a Blue Ridge Tiger!

The term exemplary is defined as commendable; deserving imitation because of excellence. This word truly defines, the hard work, love and dedication from everyone involved in educating our children this past year at Blue Ridge High School.  We have come a long way in our efforts to make Blue Ridge High School the best High School in the state of Texas. Of all the acknowledgements and awards the school could be given, the greatest of all is to see the confidence that has developed within our kids. With confidence, our children develop courage to help guide them in their lives. In the face of critics, our kids can have the confidence in knowing they can learn and perform at the levels with anyone in the nation. As Ralph Waldo Emerson was once quoted, “Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.” This courage described by Emerson has been achieved by our students this past year, and we are proud of them.
